Hello!

My name is Rowan and I’m a qualified Cognitive Behaviour Psychotherapist. I have completed a degree in Psychology and two further post-graduate qualifications specialising in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). I have also completed further training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). I am member of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).

I work both privately and in NHS mental health services and have 10 years experience supporting individuals suffering from stress, worry, panic, generalised anxiety, health anxiety, social anxiety, depression, post-natal depression, low self-esteem, body dysmorphic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder and specific phobias.

In my spare time you will find me socialising with my family and friends. I have always been a very social creature and have always found people, their experiences and how the mind works fascinating, which is what sparked my interest in Psychology.

I love my job and find it incredibly rewarding to see my clients progressing and making positive changes to their life. If you are interested in a course of CBT with myself, please don’t be shy - I’d love to hear your story and help you on your journey!
